Walter's debut album ("Better Not Start Then") comes at you with an honesty and imagination that compels you to keep on listening through a cornucopia of music and lyric styles,
It leaves you refreshed to hear some truly honest, original and insirational music, but also pleased to hear some damm good wise and cynical lyrics. Once you have finished, it is hard not to start all over again. Since Walter decided to pull all his years of visual, musical and poetical explorations together into music, rather than paintings, the album quickly came together. Composed while at times homeless and other times living out of the back of his van, the album explores a number of brually honest themes about the materialistic culture of Australia and the more down to earth sub-culture that carries the earth wisdom to counteract.
